I blame no new pictures the last couple of months on the amazing weather. Two weeks ago a combination of amazing weather and a need to exercise and live life more fully with the kids inspired me to go out and buy myself a bike, Annelise another bike that she could ride better, a double bike trailer, and helmets for everyone who didn't yet have one. If you know me at all you would be very surprised by this sudden spending spree. But so worth it and now we are set! We have been biking to school twice a day since last week and we love it! It is so fun to be outside with the kids in the springtime and have this activity together everyday. So here are some things we've been up to the last couple of months in no particular order:
| Silly kids at the park. |
| This is Bobcat Ridge. I couldn't believe it only took us fifteen minutes to get there from our house. It is in a little town in the mountains called Masonville. They had a nature hike for kids out there in mid March where you walk a 1.4 mile trail to a log cabin and along the way master naturalists teach you about the wildlife that live there. It was so beautiful and the kids had so much fun learning about nature. It was a challenge on the way back because I had to strap Adeline on and push Lily in the stroller because she was too tired to walk the 1.4 miles back to the van. But I'm definitely glad I decided to take the kids anyway. |
| These two are great buddies while Annelise is away at school. |
| One day the trees grew leaves and flowers and we had to go smell them. |
Last month Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Brittany came to visit.

| Brian thinks these pictures of poor Grandpa are funny. |
We played at the park.
| We visited Old Town. |
| One Saturday when Brian was gone we started an herb garden. The best part was painting our "pots". |
| This is my standing baby. This girl would love to walk. She is ready, her balance isn't quite there though. Soon. Two days ago she quit nursing cold turkey. Never has that happened to me before. It has been an uncomfortable weekend. Her almost eleven month old self is determined to be independent and loves to feed herself so a bottle it is. |

| And here is our house as of about a week ago. We can't wait for it to be finished. |
I am glad you guys are enjoying Colorado so much. Your kids are such cuties! Congrats on the new house, hope it gets done soon.
