Happy birthday Annelise!

Happy birthday to the greatest seven year old I know! I think sprinkles on ice cream sandwiches might be the best birthday treat in July ever created.

Spray Park at Spring Canyon park-this park is so beautiful.  We went on Annelise's birthday and got there at 7:45 am.  It was perfect since the temp was still cool and no one was there yet, so  I wasn't worried about losing anyone at the huge park and the mountains made it so pretty.  They all had a blast playing at the park and then the spray park when it opened.

Welcome home Sean!

Waiting for Sean to get off his plane.  Kaili made him this huge sign.
Nathan with his great grandpa Robison.

Lily loving Gpa.
Welcome home Sean!

This pictures sums up Annelise for the next few hours.  She must have sat on Sean's lap for at least a few hours after he got home.  She definitely remembered how much she likes Sean even after two years.

I just love the color and quality of these pictures taken by my mom.

Even Toffee came along for the fun.

Kaili's hairdos

We found out the first Sunday we were in Utah that Kaili has a talent for doing cute hairstyles. Here's what she came up with for Lily and Annelise.

And Adi got her first hairstyle too.  The top of the head tiny baby ponytail.  Nathan just went to church with his usual untameable hairstyle.

Gardener Village

There was a farmer's market going on when we went to Gardener Village to ride the ponies.  So in addition to our riding the ponies we got to see some other fun stuff.

Adi loving Aaron again.

There was  a small petting zoo.

Riding the turkey.

After Gardener Village Gpa took everyone to McDonalds for slushies.  Extra bonus was getting Uncle Aaron to play in the playplace with us.

Double extra bonus is getting air lifted by Uncle Aaron and Aunt Rachel.

Bingham Canyon copper mine

No one remembered going to the copper mine a few years ago, so we took the kids to see the giant copper mine.  Gotta love the gigantic tires and trucks.

SLC-conference center

Annelise wanted to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform so we went to one of their Thursday night practices at the Conference Center.

Adeline learns to walk

Adi learned to walk in June.  Here she is just starting out.  She just had her 1 year check up and only weighs 17.6 lbs.  So here little tiny self is just too super cute walking.

Uncle Aaron the Horsey

Meet Uncle Aaron the horsey.

Adeline love Uncle Aaron.  She is starting to warm up to people other than Mom, but she really loved him more than most people.  She was always happy to have him hold her.

Our Utah Vacation

We planned to go see my family for a week in June when Sean came home from his mission.  On Memorial Day I decided it would be fun to take the kids a couple of extra weeks before then.  So last minute we drove to Utah the day Annelise got out of school and spent three weeks playing while Brian came back and worked until the original planned vacation.  So glad we did because the kids had so much fun and we managed to miss a lot of smoky days here in Fort Collins due to the fires in the mountains close by.  Warning:  there will probably be multiple long posts.

1st grade Author's Tea

Annelise had a blast writing stories this year in 1st grade.  Kind parent volunteers typed up all the stories so the kids could illustrate them.  Here are all of the books Annelise wrote.

The last week of school we all (minus Brian) went to class to hear the stories during Author's tea.
