Lily's good news

This is Lily sporting her new hospital jammies. She earned them for throwing up twice on the way to Denver's Children's Hospital. By the time we showed up for her appointment I had run out of stuff to clean her up with and no change of clothes. Fortunately the nurse saved us by giving her this little hospital outfit so we met the doctor clean and without the smell.
Lily gave us a scare shortly after Christmas when we realized she had a lump on her lower back. After an ultrasound, MRI, and consultations with two surgeons we were blessed with good news. It looks like her lump is a benign tumor that will go away with time. She will get regular ultrasound check ups. This was great news because we were anticipated more anesthesia and a biopsy in Denver. So despite throwing up three times during the total three hour drive there and back, our trip to the pediatric surgeon in Denver was worth it.
